My favorite bible passage is Matthew 6:25:29.
Do not worry about your life, what you shall eat nor what you shall drink;
Nor about your body, what you shall put on.
Is not life more than food, the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air, they do not reap nor sow nor gather into barns, and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth more than they?
By worrying, which of you can add one single hour to your lifespan?
Observe how the lilies of the field grow;
they do not toil nor spin, yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was arrayed like one of these.
But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you?
... [Have] faith!
Do not worry, saying What shall we eat, what shall we drink, or what shall we wear? ... Your Father knows you need these things. But seek first His Kingdom and His Righteousness and all will be added to you.
That is what Jesus said about worrying.
